Held By Trees is the work of musician David Joseph that aims to evoke the strange melancholy of this moment, where the natural world beckons us into a more simple way of being. Deeply inspired by the work of Talk Talk/Mark Hollis, David has brought together six of the team that worked on the Spirit of Eden, Laughing Stock, and Hollis solo album on this new music.

Held By Trees is an instrumental post-rock collaboration of musicians. Heavily inspired by Talk Talk/Mark Hollis, and working with musicians that played for them, Held By Trees also features veterans of Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Blur and blues legend Eric Bibb.

Debut album ‘Solace’ was released 22.04.22. An expanded edition followed a year later on Lasgo Records.
